    Charlie's (Heart)

    Part of the Winchester Brides series. Sheriff Charlie Winchester did not really want to be Sheriff, but he did not want the other guy to get the job. He did not know a thing about being a Sheriff but he took seminars to learn. His town was small and had very little crime or so he thought. The new Vet caught his attention. She was different from other women he had dated, but she was hiding a secret. He had time to wait. She had to overcome some prejudices of some ranchers. Charlie caught the people poisoning his brothers' cattle., but got shot doing it. Robin was worried sick about Charlie and how bad he was hurt. She knew she had to tell him about her secret and deal with their relationship if there was one left. Charlie was patient and his patience paid off. Highly ...
