    Saves buying whole new tap unit

    When tap broke on sink of my 26 year old Autoquest I was really worried I would not find a replacement bit and would have to buy a whole new unit. £4.95 and this bit has solved the problem completely and was easy to fit with no complications bearing in mind I had no idea what I was doing. It looks quite strong too so might be good for another 26 years

    Risk of failure

    Whilst the spindle does what it is intended to I see that it is identical to the one that failed. The fact that they are easily obtainable tends to suggest that failure is a common occurrence. Having said that, the replacement was simple enough. For what it is, it could have been cheaper. As there seemed to be no alternative I just paid up and installed it.

    A Refreshing Change

    Having had a number of disappointing breakages of the drive spindle with this tap I was annoyed at the ridiculous price of getting a spare for something with an obvious design weakness. Imagine my pleasure in finding the drive spindle only available at very reasonable cost. Good on you A19 Caravans ! ( I obviously bought six while I could )
