  • Nothing better than simple

I have had this book on my shelf for the past many years, and I wanted to get it for a friend who could really use it these days! Life always wants to tend to get more and more complicated, and a simple book like this, if read with a very open mind, can do a lot of good to start to reverse that trend! It amazes me now when I read the degree to which I have gradually, very gradually, implemented so many of the recommendations put forward in the book. Would never go back, either, at this point. A simple life is just too good. • THE Guidebook for anyone considering a simpler life.

I remember the first time that I read this book over 12 years how impressed I was with the author's insight. In the complex world we live in, the only way you'll enjoy the time you've been given is to par back and focus on things that enhance your life. While it could use some updating, (Does anyone still use a car phone?) it's a must-have for anyone who uses the word simplicity in their daily vocabulary.
