Writer-director Quentin Tarantino revisits the seedier side of Los Angeles--following 1992's RESERVOIR DOGS--with this funny, violent, tongue-in-cheek tribute to the less "classic" side of filmmaking--the potboilers and capers, the Blaxploitation flicks and gangster movies. The film interweaves three tales, told in a circular, fractured manner, which only fully connect by the time the final credits roll. The first story focuses on Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), two hit men on duty for "the big boss," Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), whose gorgeous wife, Mia (Uma Thurman), takes a liking to Vincent. In the second, a down-and-out pugilist (Bruce Willis), who is ordered to take a fall, decides that there's more money in doing the opposite. The final chapter follows a pair of lovers (Amanda Plummer and Tim Roth) as they prepare to hold up a diner.Tarantino wears his cinematic influences proudly, bringing them to life in the ironically hip, self-referential 1990s. The result is a work that changed the face of independent cinema forever, making it a legitimate player in the Hollywood mainstream. The all-star cast steps into their roles with obvious glee, and Tarantino once again uses his soundtrack to up the "cool" ante yet another notch, making for a motion picture event that has worked its way into our national vernacular.

Top 5 all time best movie!
This is my personal favorite movie ever. The language in this is brilliant vulgarity. This has to be Travolta's best acting and it is what earned him his ability to afford his Jet! Hee hee, Urban Cowboy aside... It's a drug filled, violence riddled, profanity pumped movie that had me laughing when no one else was laughing. This is a movie for the jaded movie goer who has half a brain and needs a little more than just blood and guts to be entertained. You get a glimpse into a world you know exists, but few people actually ever get to see. Sam Jackson is amazing in this movie. It is his best movie. Travolta & Jackson as a team are unbeatable. You want to watch these guys do four more sequals of these roles. I have watched this movie so many times I have had to buy it twice. Uma ... This is my personal favorite movie ever. Uma wasn't too shabby at all and anytime you see someone doing the two fingers over the eyes dance, you can thank Uma. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. One scene that I love is when Travolta has a big problem with Uma and tries to take her to a dealer friends house to get help. "F you Lance Answer!" coming from a frantic Travolta yelling into his cell phone as he races to Lance's house was movie brilliance. I love this movie! But! There is one scene that takes it a bit far for me. Mr. Wallace has a moment in the basement of a pawn shop that a lot of people may find, like me, to be way too much to see in a movie. But I think it may almost be a Tarantino signature, having seen it in another movie he had a part in... That aside, Tarantino's musical paintbrush is just as bold and fitting, making every moment hip and cool. There is a gargantuan cast including Bruce Willis, and even Tarantino plays a small part. Too much to list, just go watch this movie. Nuff said.

Unbelievable movie, Quentin Tarantino at his best!
What a special thrilling movie indeed. This of course, being the Special Collectors Edition, you're in for a treat. If you the the movie was good just wait till after its over, having Quentin Tarantino babble to you about like 2 scenes or so and how they didn't make it into the movie. That was fun. The movie it self is an amazing crime film thats very surprising the first time around. The plot builds quickly and in a non sequential way. The second things start to calm down, you'll find this film surprises you. The music score is excellent, and really brings you back. It really is brilliant, the kind of thing everyone has to see once, and if you see it once, well then by golly you gotta see it twice. Just plain spectacular
Pulp Fiction is Just plain spectacular, Travolta and Jackson are superb, and the rest of the cast is absolutely killer. An instant classic, I can watch this movie over and over and never get tired of it. Pulp Fiction is one of Tarantinos best films, the cast is superb, the plot is incredible, and the production is second to none. I actually just watched this movie for the first time start to finish over the holidays and I now know why everybody is always talking about it as being a classic. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: You can't go wrong purchasing this movie, it's that good. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. PULP FICTION in VHS
The movie (Pulp Fiction) has always been a favorite of mine. Tarentino has produced controversial films in the past with this being as crude and violence filled as ever. If you have not seen it and do NOT care for violence filled with an array of motley characters, I do NOT recommend this. Read other reviews for more in-depth information. I purchased in the VHS format due to the economics factor and I'll probably see it again maybe once if that. I'll just add it to my other dust-collection VHS tapes that sit on my shelf, but if I so desire to view, I can reach for it at my leisure.The movie (Pulp Fiction) has always been a favorite of mine.
