As an alternative the seller offered refund 1/2 the price if I didn't return the item. It was not my fault the item was defective, so I should not lose money on the process.     wireless keypad Yale HSA 6080

    As I had no mains power supply near the front door for the main keypad, I had to install it in the kitchen. This wireless keypad enables me to set the alarm from the front door and it works very well. However, this is the second one I have bought since the first one failed after a year. Hopefully that was a one off failure.

    I bought this to replace my original one which I broke when trying to change the battery, be warned when doing this as the batter holder inside the unit is extremely flimsy and easily breaks off, too easily.

    Useful accessory.

    This item added a level of versatility to my older 3000 system allowing me to arm / disarm from up and downstairs. Also, it’s a small unit that takes up very little space. There are no pairing instructions in the box so I had to check out the internet for this information as my original instructions had no detail for a remote keypad.=
