They described all the minor defects with the packaging in the description, so there weren't any surprises, and the diecast model was packed extremely well! It arrived in a clean box, surrounded by thick/large bubble wrap (a piece of cardboard on top to avoid any accidental punctures), and a protective plastic sleeve. This is how diecast should be sold. Holiday or no holiday, that is absolutely as it should be. The USPS often gets its act together. A stagecoach would have been a quaint way to transport the item. USPS ground advantage is what you'd expect it to be. Everything eventually arrives using this service (at least that's my experience).
