Well-made bolt extractor set
The Irwin bolt extractor set, the base one, was packed well in a case. The description was fine, indicating there were five extractors but should have put down what the extractors were: The ad should have included this: The Base Set includes a heavy-duty resin carrying case and includes bolt extractors to remove fractional size bolts that are 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" and metric size bolts 11mm, 14mm, 16mm.The Irwin bolt extractor set, the base one, was packed well in a case. would not work for what I needed it for. thought it would remove a stripped lug nut like the description online for the items says but this package wont work.

Hands down a must have for any stripped bolt/screw
These are amazing!!! I do a lot of work on motorcycles, and got a harley in that had a tension screw (the one that holds the shifter arm in place) completely stripped. It was so bad you couldn’t even get a flathead screwdriver on it. Plus to make matters worse, there was an extremely small range of motion area I was dealing with. After attempting numerous types of pliers (including channel locks), and breaking two different “speed out” bits, I was about to throw in the towel and call it quits. I made a trip up to my local Lowe’s just to chill out for a minute, and to see if I could come up with any other ideas. That’s when I stumbled upon these beauties. After two days of bloody knuckles, and zero patience left, I figured what the hell is a few more bucks and some more frustration??? After ... These are amazing!!! A must have tool set.
I recently put exhaust headers on my truck and had a number of rusted, stuck bolts to deal with. Some of the bolts were rusted so bad they were entirely rounded off. After seeing these advertised I thought I would gives them a try. I had to go down several sizes to find a size that would fit the damaged bolts, but with a pull of the trigger on the air impact they zipped right off. I was amazed how easily they worked, they are definitely a must have! They are a must have. LIFE SAVER!!
They work great. Might have to tap the socket on a little and then just use the ratchet and the bolt will come right out. LIFE SAVER. If you don't have any of these sockets, they are a must. Will definitely pay for them selves the first time you use them.
