    The Prisoner was a cult classic British spy series, released in the 60s and an integral formative element in the way I viewed life. I actually saw it in the 70s (I was in high school then) when it was aired on broadcast television in the US as a summer fill-in for another series on hiatus. You can find out more on the net by googling "the prisoner". Personally, I found the Prisoner to be an insight into the way governments manipulate information to their benefit; and, how rejection of the status quo can get one (in this case #6) into trouble. I purchased this item to gain further insight into Patrick McGoohan's -- the series' creator -- perception of the "village" where he was held hostage.
