Fantastic Quality Door Bell Push - Avoid cheap plastic Byron/Blyss alternatives and buy this
After buying multiple poor quality plastic pushes from Screwfix and B&Q etc, I decided to look online to try and find something better. The terminals of this looked like the same style as our doorbell from the 70s that sadly rusted itself into the bin, so I thought I’s give it a go. Can’t say enough good things about it. Terminals are a good size which makes attaching the wire much easier, and the screws have little nubs next to them to stop the wire coming out, which was essential for our door bell which has fairly thick solid conductor wires. The front of the bell attaches to the backing plate with a secure grub screw on the bottom, rather than the small push clips which are useless like on the cheap plastic ones (Byron, Blyss etc).
