    Superb for insect study

    Although good for general use, these binoculars excel in looking at small and close objects, insects, butterflies, reptiles etc. They function much like a low power microscope ... opening up a new world of nature study. A tremendous supplementary pair for the keen birder acting as a constant glove box companion.

    Its a unique pair of binoculars - no other pair gets close in terms of close focus. They feel a little flimsy and I wouldn't want to get them wet, but they are excellent value and make watching insects at close quarters a joy
