The product arrived in good time and was well packaged. I bought this product last year and arrived in 1 large container which I struggled to lift and decant the contents. This year the paraffin came in 4 smaller containers - perfect! However I couldn't open the lids as my hands aren't strong enough, my husband struggled too. The solution may be to use stronger plastic containers as to open them you need to push down to break the seal and the containers just buckle under the pressure.

On receipt I was a bit dubious as this had a funny blueish tinge and smelled like the funnel exhaust fumes of a car ferry! So I feared it was some unrefined industrial fuel [Paraffin I've bought from camping shops has always been clearer and smelled more er... "paraffiny"]. However, I filled my oil lamps with it today and was pleasantly surprised to find it burns nice and clean and with no nasty smell --other than the "normal" oil lamp smell, which I find quite homely.
