I wasn't sure if this was the model needed for my 5 quart professional Plus Kitchen Aid mixer, but it fit perfect. It was very helpful when adding ingredients to the bowl as it was mixing. It cleaned up well with a quick rinse and scrub in the sink. It is a very good product! The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the packaging was definitely not new although the product description said NIB. The shield was also in the box loose without any wrap or bag around it as is customary with new products.

flimsier than the older equivalent pour shield for my older model K5SS mixer. Also doesn't stay attached to the bowl rim as well as the K5SS mixer version. One advantage is the design is open on one side allowing it to be attached with the beater in place.

The cover fit fine and looked fine. However, It was warped slightly at one end, preventing the last inch from contacting the bowl. It's not really a big deal, I think a minute or two with the hairdryer will straighten it.
