Did the job
Item purchased not for a VW Golf but to replace the fan motor only on my 1980 Fiesta Mk1 as unable to source a replacement Ford or similar item. A fellow classic car owner recognised that this motor would fit the housing and all it needed was to replace the electrical connectors with spade terminals. Job done and fan works very well.
