This is a story about Solomon Creed, who knows nothing about himself but has a wealth of knowledge on many topics. He becomes involved with the lives of other people and this is where the "story in a story develops" - most of it being about the other people with small nuggets of information about Solomon. I had already read the second book in this series, unaware that it was number 2, which is what prompted me to buy this book - the first in the series. I was drawn in from the first page and I will definitely be looking out for book 3. I'm however none the wiser about who Solomon Creed is.
