It humidifies well but has a chemical odor
The product had a very strong chemical scent, even when saturated and wrung out. I used it in my 2001 Martin HD28V guitar. The guitar always has a sweet rosewood smell. After I used the product, only one time overnight, the guitar sound hole had a strong chemical smell. I removed the humidifier and after one week the original rosewood smell came back.

I usually don’t like giving not good product ratings. First, the humidifier tube is to thin. It’s probably for a violin where it can insert into the cleft hole. Secondly, the plastic hole cover is extremely hard to get into place. You must lift the string in order to get the hole covered. Eventually the end of the cover crack causing reason to trim it, then it’s to small to do it’s job. I would like a replacement cover. I usually don’t like giving not good product ratings. A Better Humidifier
This is better than my Planet Waves set up with its tiny sponge... I like that the sound hole gets sealed to keep the interior nice and moisturized! Smells funny, but otherwise a good value - give it a shot

Grove vs Dampit
