    Works but Fake

    Took a chance on a cheap listing hoping it might be official but that's the chance you take. The first photo is the cartridge I received, the second is what its inside should actually look like - LeafGreen and FireRed were released without the need of the battery in previous titles like Ruby and Sapphire. Forums say when you try to migrate pokemon from a fake LeafGreen/FireRed it'll recognise it as fake and delete your save but I've yet to get far enough in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum to test this but I will in the future and post an update to this review.

    Great game, full of nostalgia

    Bought product based on fondness of Gen I Pokemon games, wanted to see the results of Gen III update and relive nostalgia. Pros: Favourite monsters and story; better graphics and gameplay; arrived in good condition. Cons: Sound glitches when saving (Nintendo DSLite not GBA), cutting out high-pitched noises, not a major problem due to usually playing with sound off anyway.
