It offers an Awakening, and assures a new awareness.
The Course will change your life for the better! For me, it was a tough read since it is written in "King James" English like the Bible my Grandmother gave me when I was young. But unlike the Christian Bible, it does not confuse or seem to speak in riddles or leave interpretation to the reader. There is no bewilderment in having an Old Testament God that is jealous and wrathful and a New Testament God that is loving and forgiving. The course is what you get when you hear it "straight from the horse's mouth" (Jesus) instead of translated hearsay that has been edited to fit the official Catholic narrative, and many accounts left out completely. I completed The Course decades ago, and listened to The Course text narrated on cassette tapes as I commuted, which is way easier than reading it. ... The Course will change your life for the better! Nobody will ever pressure you or ask for money or missionary/recruitment work in connection with The Course. It is not a religion, it simply offers an awakening.

This book is for THE healing transformation, and for the quick-witted who think they know everything. It is for deep thinkers and also for people who like to read a little at a time, and then sit back and rest with it. I found these writings led me to that holiness within. These writings, to me, shine like the Sun on this darkened Earth.

everyone will benefit from this book
spiritual rather than religious, this one I purchased for a friend. I am 1/2 way thru mine. You read a page or two everyday. I recommend reading it as its supposed to be read, which takes one year. I will continue to purchase more for other friends when they notice the change in me and ask how?

wonderful book to read in this time of craziness
I have been an agnostic much of my life-never being able to commit to belief in a god who would allow such suffering on such a grand scale on this planet. However-I always felt a part of me deep inside that did recognize that there had to be an explaination somewhere--and was always seeking. This book has awakened that voice within me and allowed me to recognize the truth that is and always has been.And it hit me with a bang of awakening and recognition--a truth that I always knew--but needed the right catalyst to open my sleeping soul. This book is a must if you too are seeking the truth. An Absolutely Amazing read
This book has so much to teach about who we are and what we should place attention on. It is a manual for living, with a specific method. One have to follow the guidelines and do the exercises to get the most our of it. It is not a one time read, it is a manual for life, it must be a continuous reading at least several times and there will be something new every time we read it.
