I was looking for an all in one printer for mainly light home use but occasional work use and this fits the bill. The print quality is good but I don't usually print pictures so can't say how good it is on this front. The key benefit over my previous printer (Epson RX620) is that the paper feed mechanism works well - I no longer have to manually feed each piece of paper. Set up is pretty straightforward, I followed the instructions and all necessary software was downloaded. There is a little bit of bloatware but you have the option of declining it at download stage. Once set up other PCs around the house found it easily and the set up process for each was straight forward. The other benefit I see is that the replacement OEM inks are pretty cheap and there seems to be a good market for them on ebay. All in all I'm very happy with the printer and would recommend it especially considering the price.Read full review

This printer was incredibly difficult to get up & running. Although it states 'manual' on the CD there is in fact no manual or comprehensive user instructions at all. There is a piece of paper offering some basic start-up advice but certainly not nearly enough to use all of the functions. One needs to do most of the setting up online & it is purely trial & error as the instructions on the various steps are sporadic at best. I had a message on the printer saying I had a connection (online) but on the appropriate web page the message was that I was not connected. Consequently I could not scan & that's just half the story. I have had cheaper Epson printers that produced the same quality examples as this one but were far more user friendly & did not require going backwards & forwards to various Epson web ages inputting masses of info. Also this machine compared to my previous 2 Epson machines is quite noisy. As far as the Fax facility, well unless you need a fax I detected no real benefit in using this machine over my previous models. Well this did offer double sided printing & there are a few extra uses such as printing envelope address eg. but for me that was not enough to rule out the disadvantages. My suggestion is read up on this printer 1st carefully weighing up your own requirements & then decide as it may not or may well suit.Read full review

This printer came in original box, paper work etc. This printer was easy to set up as both a computer and tablet/phone printer. Print quality from computer/tablet is really good. At the moment photocopying seems to leave a grey scale on the printed page; but this may be a set up problem I haven't resolved yet. The printer uses compatible inks that are a very good price. In general I am very pleased with this product.

This is a great printer with excellent features for anyone printing a lot. It prints on both sides of the page as default, has a scanner and fax which work beautifully, and is environmentally-friendly. Of course, the main cost is not the printer - it is the ink, but that is the case with all printers.

Arrived in original packaging with cables, CDs and manual. Only issue was that by the time a good print was generated using the supplied ink cartridges and the head clean utility, the ink was nearly depleted.
