Bill Hicks is not your average comedian with a string of one-liners, his humour is very dark and thought provoking, some people claim he is not even a comedian at all. One heckler shouted at him on stage 'we don't come to see a comedian and have to think' he replied 'where do you go to think? I'll meet you there!' A U2 song had the line 'everything you know is wrong' and Bill goes about explaining this in great detail in all of his shows as he challenges and has alternative opinions about everything from governments and big business to sex and drugs and rock n roll. Bill Hicks is not mainstream and his humour is not everyones cup of tea but if you find a lot of comedy bland and sterile then you may find this dvd a refreshing change. ps If you work in the advertising and marketing industry ...
