Dissapointing!
I really disliked this movie... but then again when i saw what year it was made (the same year it happened) I felt a lil iffy about it,so i still bought it because i'm really into this whole "Laci Peterson Story" I felt like maybe it would go back to the beggining how it all happened.There happpy marriage, business, etc. It skipped so much! If you really want to know a lot about the case...buying laci's mom book, and ambers would be a great thing to do. This movie is not worth your money. You end up watching the movie and dont learn anything. Thank Godiness i bought amber's book... and when i was watching the movie i had to tell my family about a lot of stuff it skipped. I really do hope that one day, now that he is sentenced... someone can make a movie of it... a good one... that takes ... He did it ~ now PROVE IT~ EXCELLENT Dean
PLOT: BASED On real life story~ perfect couple finds the PREGNANT Wife Suddenly missing on Christmas Eve....the Husband is the chief Suspect~ EXCELLENT ACTING BY DEAN CAIN (Lois and Clark) as the suspect husband~ Laci Peterson 8 months pregnant AND HAPPILY MARRIED IS suddenly is reported missing~ her husband Scott shows all you would expect but as time goes by and the wife missing he appears to not be as UPSET as one would think with his wife and unborn Son Conner MISSING~ this is very well done for a TV movie~ Dean Cain nails this one with the just the "right" amount of LACK OF EMOTION and when he does show any we feel it is an "act"~ HIS reluctance to be on camera is odd too~ We see the Peterson and Laci's family support Scott UNTIL the revelation of Amber Fry ...a woman Scott has ... The Perfect Husband, The Laci Peterson Story. I got this movie because I had followed the Scott Peterson trial on Court Tv, and this was a chance to put all my thoughts of how things went into a movie. Considering all things, the movie was wonderful. Dean Cain plays Scott Peterson and you really get to see their take on how Scott must have felt and acted during the investigation of his pregnant wife's murder. Though everyone already knows the end, it's still a great movie! If you have followed the trial like I did, then this is for you for sure, but if you didn't but you heard about the trial.... then still get this movie to further your knowledge on the case. Either way you will be happy ya saw it. God Bless Sharon Rocha and family for their loss of their daughter Laci and grand child ... The Perfect Husband, The Laci Peterson Story. Dean Cain does a great job portraying Scott Peterson
I enjoyed the movie tremendously and not just because Dean Cain played the role of Scott Peterson.The movie really did come very impressively close to the facts.People judge others too much based on rumors,heresay, and allegations,but you could tell he was feeling the guilt he was accused of 3/4 of the way through the movie.No normal man would have just sat back and not felt devastated by the lost of his wife the way Scott did.A normal man would have been going into a state of manic depression over the lost of his wife.Scott never did!You could see it in his emotions and by his body language and Dean pulled that off exceptionally well.For those that didn't like the movie,don't rent it or buy it.For those who did,you have a truly good sit down with the popcorn and enjoy it kinda movie.The ...
