  • Sounds Pretty Much Like Their Debut

I always hear people say that Stone Sour is radio friendly....and that's the point. You really can't complain considering that the band is really making a different style music than Slipknot INTENTIONALLY. This album really sounds no different than their debut - the style and sound is pretty much the same. You'll have some slow, pop-style songs like "Through The Glass" and then you'll have some faster paced, heavier sounding songs like "30/30-150". If you liked their debut, then you'll like this CD because it's following the same formula as far as sound, style and lyrics. If you've never heard of Stone Sour or haven't listen to them yet, their style is very different from Slipknot. Stone Sour's sound isn't as heavy, ...

Stone Sour's sophmore effort is no exception to this diversity. The album's first track "3030150" is as hard as anything Slipknot has put out, but melodic enough to please the pop metal fan. The real flair of this album does not come from the sappy ballad "Through Glass" that has been played to death on every major radio station; ...
