Good value, but cramped layout and doesn't like Panasonic
The remote did not recognise my Panasonic Freeview recorder. It listed 2 codes but neither worked. The app was useless- it did not recognise Panasonic within the device group at all. I had to programme every control, including the on/off button, by means of the learning method. Samsung TV set up was comprehensive and instant, as was Now TV. It recognised my 12 year old Sony DVD/HDD recorder and set up the principal controls. The handset is too narrow, and the placing of the drive buttons right at the bottom is very poor. Quality and finish appear to be good, and value is excellent compared to the admittedly more sophisticated Harmony range. As the main reason for buying this product was to replace a faulty Panasonic remote, and I'll never get back the half day that it took to programme, ...
