The stainless steel of all but a few coffee makers is so boring and I wantred to brighten up my kitchen. Bought the Delonghi in red with matching kettle and transformed my kitchen. Now i have matching crockery, saucepans and am still trying to buy a red burr grinder. The coffee maker is good, does the job okay and is I think fine for all but the most dedicated of coffee addicts. Upsides - appearance, ease of use, cleaning, refilling. Downsides, need a small cup to get in the low space, milk frother drips miss the catcher. For those who have already experienced coffee machines, its a no, go for something more technical - with temp control etc.
Arrived with a broken steam wand but I managed to fix it using slow dry epoxy. This was because packaging wasn't sufficiently protective. Works a treat now.

Bought this reconditioned coffee machine/cappuccino maker as the new price is a bit steep. Cannot fault it, works perfectly, can't really notice the scrapes. Easy to use and the coffees taste lovely. Bargain!
