I did contact the seller and it was not her it was whoever delivered it afterwards and when it was posted to me, it did come out of a post van. I wish people would take more care with parcels, plus because it never came in a box that’s probably didn’t help either.

I appreciated the buyers comments, however the item was very well packaged, and could well have been thrown around even in a box. On communication with the buyer they were unhappy that it didn’t work on arrival, but they had also damaged the screw on the base compartment by opening/closing it and had put the batteries in the wrong way, so this
would not have helped either.
