    Good quality but hard to turn

    Fits perfectly, works well, no leaks but difficult to turn off when pressurized. Luckily it doesn't have to be turned off very often or I could imagine it might break after repeated use. If it often has to be turned off, I would recommend rigging a bybass with some good quality 1/4 turn ball valves instead but this is easier and cheaper to install.

    Should last for many years due to contruction!

    Very well constructed I was initially reluctant to purchase other than stainless steel but this one is better construction than original one! Easy replacement but be sure to bleed off pressure in water system by running water after isolating the valve before replacement.

    Like getting rid of brass valve

    Is ok. I kike the idea of getting rid of the old brass valve. But didn't realize wouldn't work as is. New style valve requires an additional adaptor to use it.
