      Job Done - Permanently

      Perfect epoxy for applications where components get hot in use. Standard epoxies can be melted by boiling water, so are no good for car cooling system projects. Easy to use and performing well so far. Not suitable for "quick fixes" because the setting time is fairly long. Can apparently be machined, but I didn't need to and I liked the dark grey finish.

      Didn’t work for me

      The product was recommended by a friend unfortunately it didn’t work and the repair I tried to fix failed again. Tried another product which features an 🦍 animal in its product name and that work like a dream. But this product may work in a different situation than mine as my friend was shocked when it didn’t work for me. So it may work for you just not me..

      Totally satisfied with this product!

      Worked perfectly to mount back the metal heatsink brackets on the stacked fiberglass layers of my notebook motherboard (ASUS ROG GL552JX). I had my doubts regarding this matter because I saw an article online about someone not being able to get it fixed using epoxy resin. However, decided to give it a go with JB Weld and now the brackets don't seem to detach anytime soon! Just follow the instructions (degrease and roughen surfaces a bit) and don't be shy putting a little extra on the outer side of the bound once in place, since JB Weld is not electrical conductive. Allow to cure 24h for safety and you're good to go :)

      One of the best epoxy adhesives around

      This has to be one of the best epoxy glues you can get! I didn't realise that it had been around since 1969! I have used this glue for many applications, including re-cementing a rare projector lamp to its base, where the temperature resistance (up to 287°C) meant it wouldn't burn. Ordinary epoxies wouldn't have been able to withstand the heat. Recently, I used it to repair a bakelite saucepan handle where again, heat resistance was important. My only minor issue with this glue, is that it can be very thick, in particular the grey adhesive component. This can be improved by adding a small amount of acetone to the mix (just a drop or two!), which dilutes it a bit. The other thing is the long cure time, although this can be speeded up by warming up the article you are repairing.

I highly recommend the product but be careful to only end up with where you want it. Seller was extremely helpful. Happy all round!
