The shellac mixed easily with alcohol and was completely clear in 24hours. Absolutely no particles left so no need to strain. Have only applied 5 of the 60 or so thin coats needed but so far this is the best finish of any product I've used to date. I'll be returning for more when needed and recommend other luthiers try this company's product.

Front looks marvellous with just blonde finish, rear and sides were stained with a rosewood oil-based dye then given shellac coatings... altogether very pleasing. Will use again. Thanks.
