    Fun MMORPG

I love RPG games, and am huge into all of the Borderlands. Destiny 1 has a similar feel to Borderlands, but sadly does lack much of the compelling story. There is a base story that is somewhat interesting, but very short. Interaction with the world, AIs, and cinematics is at an all time minimum (especially when compared to its sequel, Destiny 2). If you truly just love playing RPGs and are down for hundreds of add on missions, then the collection pack is where it's at. I wouldn't recommend buying just the base standard game unless you were desperate to further understand guardian lore and story in attempt to better lead into Destiny 2 (though Destiny 2 on its own can be a standalone). I bought it knowing very well that Destiny left much to be desired because, like I said, I just really ...

Decent Graphics, Quality Game Play, Uninspired Story

If you've never played Destiny, I would describe it best as a first person shooter with multiple missions to go on, a hub city to buy weapons and ships, and very little story to keep you coming back for more. Don't get me wrong - the run and gun game play is decent, boss battles can be rewarding, and team co-op can be fun with the right people. Aside from that, Destiny lacks any sort of compelling narrative from the start: you are a guardian, you're brought back to life to safe the world from "the darkness", and from there you level up and collect new weapons, and eventually, you'll confront "the darkness" in an anticlimactic way, and then the credits roll. The Taken King is, in my opinion, quite good. Much better than the main story. Rise of Iron is a joke. It's 20 minutes of game play ...

  • A definite must have.

This game is fantastic. It had all 4 expansions included. A bargain at 20 bux. The campaign is complete and the mp is fantastic. They start you at level 40 so that your at the highest level from the beginning so that other players don’t kill you easily. A definite must have.

  • Can't use the codes for the expansions

I purchased this specific game because it was an all-inclusive game. I get it, try to set up the DLC, then find out the codes aren't usable and I would have to pay an additional $59.99 to get the expansion. So, essentially I wasted $20 when I could download the whole package for $59. It also didn't state that the codes were invalid.

  • Great Sci-Fi First-Person Shooter

I come from the Half-Life generation. I liked Halo, but this is definitely different than Halo. I love the mass collection of weapons, the bosses, the graphics and the story. Worthy game for any first person shooter enthusiast.
