A band that should've had more success than they did.
The Tourists is the band Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox were in (in the late '70s), before they formed Eurythmics in 1980. I had never heard The Tourists' music before now and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's much better than I ever imagined it would be. It is characteristic of the new wave music that came out of the UK during that time period. This is an album of 20 songs I will be listening to a lot for years to come. Recommended!!
