The side bottoms work beautifully, whereas in previous models these were very resistant to being pressed. By having a one-piece frame for the sides, splitting and chipping are also prevented. My only disappointment is that it didn't come with a glass screen protector. Overall I like the design because you can put your middle finger through the kick stand loop to secure a one-hand use of the camera.
