This is a great set of DVDs covering all the shows done for Thames TV. A little disappointed that parts of the shows have been edited out, such as all the Wings performances in season 1, and Mr Blue Sky performed on the show by ELO in the very first episode of season 1. When making a DVD purchase, I would expect to have complete shows to watch, but instead I am still left curious as to how some of these pop performers performed on the show, and I am still no closer to seeing these performances, despite paying good money for the DVDs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No Gizzard puke
A good TV collection but unfortunately the best characters the late great Kenny Everett did are missing from this collection . No green Mohican Gizzard puke ' No oh Micheal lady ' No white painted faced mime in the top hat .... I bought this collection hope Kenny's impression of Rob Stewart with the extra large self inflating bottom would be here but unfortunately it isn't . Just not funny!
No wonder it only ran on television for the short period it did. Who ever wrote the scripts had no humour. Another irritating point is one of the production crew who laughs at nothing, so loud it is difficult to hear Kenny Everett's joke. We watched the Kenny Everett comedy tv sketch show years ago and really enjoyed its humour, Kenny was so unique with his humour, gags , and taking the mick out of celebrities who would join in on his gags and jokes even though it was at their expense, so when I looked up if anything was on dvd from his shows I saw on E bay that all of his shows was on dvd and though we haven’t finished watching them yet you can see how his characters developed through each episode, enjoying watching them again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
