This was the best deal for this Samsung SSD. The product arrived in a non-opened factory carton. Night meets day
Older t430...love my Lenovo custom factory modded rig. Has been a dream since buying it maybe 6-7 years ago. Last 8 months it been a slog and this was the instant fix. A quick clone of the drive, 5 screws later, swapped and fired up in seconds where I was dealing with minutes for boot times and frustrating long for basic page loads. Good value depending on price
This Samsung 860 EVO has great speed improvement over the traditional hard disk when booting Windows 10. However, when copying a large number of small files, its speed drop can be drastic, most likely because of the CRC mechanism. Reliability is good so far, but regular data backup is a must as a sudden failure will be disastrous. Fits in a laptop or desktop

Great drive, fast speeds and good pricing
Provides some of the quickest load times you can get in a standard (2.5") package. The 860EVO is probably the best bang-for-the-buck SSD out there. There are faster SSDs...but you probably won't be able to discern a difference and pay much more. Oldie but Golgie
This SSD is not a new model, but still is one of the fastest and reliable SATA drives. Most more recent models offer lower speeds and could freeze for several seconds under the heavy loads.
