    Colourful & lighthearted entertainment of the era.

    `The Pilot episode of this series laid down the (highly unlikely) plot for the series. The leaders of a successful gang of bandits decided to end their career of crime, and a friendly sheriff told them of an amnesty scheme, and if they stayed out of trouble for a year, this would be granted. Their adventures whilst trying to stay within the law provided the scriptwriters with a wealth of material to keep viewers entertained without having to work too hard at it. The parts played by Ben Murphy and Pete Duel didn't tax their acting skills to highly, and the sad demise of Pete Duel at a very young age broke a really good partnership before the course of the series had fully run.
