A fascinating read about the discovery of Henry VIII's warship
An excellent first-hand account by Alexander McKee of the search and discovery of the Tudor warship 'Mary Rose', now on display in the historic dockyard, Portsmouth. The book also includes very well researched chapters on 'The Battle of the Solent', the invasion by the French and the sinking of the 'Mary Rose'. McKee's writing style makes it an easy read.
