    A monster saw

    A very sturdy reciprocating saw. Survived cutting all the roots of a massive tree in the back of my garden. Due to its location this tool was my only viable option. Prior to Bosch GSA 1100 E I used Silverline and Stanley Fatmax. Both failed, but Bosch just kept going. The only minor downside I can point out is the blade locking mechanism. After cutting for few hours with the saw I couldn't unlock it by hand.Overall an excellent tool. 5*

    Multi-purpose well built saw

    Feels very solid and powerful, blades are quickly fitted and removed although the latch takes some getting used to. Perfect for hacking through branches in the garden however I've really purchased it to cut through a brick wall.

    Bosch blue quality again.

    I expect this tool to last many years compared to the budget versions you see. The always on light is good as you know you left it switched on to avoid someone removing your fingers during a blade change. The you need to push an unlock button to operate the switch but this is on both sides so fine for lefties as well. Bosch seem to have a blade for everything, from cast iron to foam and everything inbetween. Yes you pay a premium, you get a 3 year warranty but the only time I ever needed to use this (for Bosch multi cutter I had hammered) the tool was collected Monday and returned Wednesday. Says it all really.
