    Regrettable experience. Item was advertised as new. It arrived and the box had been opened and the item assembled. Regardless I gave it a go. After a short time a fault became apparent. I contacted the seller who suggested I try to trouble shoot. I did so. Fault persisted. Unfortunately I closed the return-so asked seller to pls send return address. Seller refused insisted I speak to eBay. Even though as explained the returns process was now closed. So it’s up to eBay to refund me.

    The buyer opened a return and I provided product guidance, including advice to top up water due to warm UK weather causing water evaporation and affecting pump function. The buyer then cancelled the return. Once a return is closed, sellers can’t issue a label or refund through eBay — only eBay can reopen it. The item was new and unused, as listed and shown in the photos. I acted fairly and within eBay policy throughout.
