What I needed at the right time.
I purchased a Sony Dav-hdx265 surround sound system and 5 disc changer, probably in 2009 but I hadn't been using as of late. In March 2018 I replaced my older Sharp 46 inch lcd HDTV with a Sharp 60 inch 4k uhdtv and discovered my receiver was blown this buy a used one. I would have bought a sound bar or something but I still have my Sony speakers mounted in my home. This used receiver was the answer.

Older Sony Home Theater
The shipper did an excellent job packaging this older unit and it arrived safely. While it came without speakers, I already had those so it was adequate for my needs. Since this is a good product yet old technology, I believe this is the best way (buying a used one on eBay) to replace one which doesn’t work….I believe all products bought on eBay are in good condition, so that’s why I will advice to buy this kind of product and others new or refurbished electronics as wellVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Wish it was new.
The problem is that it's been very glitchy & doesn't play all dvds properly. It skips & freezes a lot, very frustrating. It does (so far) play a new dvd without issue but I'm sad It won't play my older dvds. Does not work. Other than turning on . Drawer for dvd does not open. No sound from radio. With all speakers hooked up. Function do not work on remote
