I had a little trouble getting the battery in and closing it up as the battery contacts are maybe a little too close to the battery cover but it's good other than that. The barrel jack is center positive and the battery cover has a screw hole for keeping it closed more permanently, although I'm not sure what size screw it takes. Works great for powering my DSO138.
