The advert was not very clear i thought i was buying something else. What i understood was that i was going to buy a reconditioned speedometer and not the glass and seals only. Maybe my mistake.

No buyer contact as usual, there are several photos of the parts included. Title states reconditioning kit (includes bezel, glass, seals and nuts). Description is very specific stating (instrument/gauge is not included!). The listing has run for 9 yrs and around 300 kits, this is the first time that anyone has mistaken the advert for a complete unit. Buyer says it could be his mistake and we would agree! If in doubt please contact us, our adverts are super clear but happy to clarify and revise.

    Repairing a Smiths Speedometer cheaper than buying a new one.

    Parts like this are not readily available and repairing a Smiths speedometer is preferable to buying a new one which are also not readily available.

    No worth the money

    The advert was not clear on what i was purchasing. I thought it was a reconditioned instrument and not face glass and gaskets only. For these items only, the purchase was expensive.
