Canon PowerShot SD630 is equipped with 6.0 Megapixels, an optical 3x zoom lens (f/2.8 - f/4.9) with Canon high-performance and high-speed processing "DIGIC II", which makes it possible to take pictures with up to a maximum of 2816×2112 recording pixels and achieve more comfortable camera operation complying with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed. Blending superb functionalities and exquisitely elegant form into a compact body, Thin and Sharp Design enhanced the excitement of shooting and pleasure of having this camera. Employing a large 3.0-inch LCD monitor and a Touch Control Dial on the rear allows easy operation. Higher ISO Speed that can be adjusted up to 800 equivalent and High ISO Auto that sets the ISO Speed to higher settings than the existing ISO AUTO enable you to reduce camera shake and subject blur, and shoot beautiful images in a dark area where the shutter speed is set to a slow setting.

    some limitations

    The camera is excellent, it fits in my pocket and takes great pictures though I have to remind myself to hold still while clicking a shot also there is a wait time from clicking the camera till it works.

    Banged up, stopped working after three days

    I'm sorry to say that we were disappointed with this purchase. The camera was quite dinged and scratched, and the labels on some key dials had been worn off, necessitating a lot of guesswork as to what mode it was in.. Unfortunately once we opened it, it was too late to send it back and replace it in time for Christmas, so we went ahead and gave it to our daughter for as planned. After three days of gentle, sporadic use,the camera stopped taking pictures altogether, though the review mode still works. This camera was not fit for resale even as a used product.
