    Be careful before you order these!!!

    I ordered a set of these HDMI adapters because of the way my HDMI cables plug into my Sony TV. The Sony's HDMI ports on the back of the set are off to the far left and don't face directly rearward, but instead have to be plugged into from the side. Thus, my HDMI cables bend leftward (looking at the TV from the front) and stick out beyond the screen before they are able to complete their natural bending action and head out of view. (Nice design, Sony!!!) I was hopeful these adapters would let me connect the HDMI cables so they would not stick out into view... but the way the male connector on the adapter is oriented is 180 degrees wrong for my application. I can't even plug the adapter into the TV, since its 90 degree bend points it the wrong way. I have since found another brand adapter ...

    Great solving Wallmounted Monitors and TV's. Good formfactor.

    Size Matters. And in this case behind a wallmount tv, this makes the HDMI cable connection so much easier. The only issue was with a 7" screen, which has a sidemount HDMI socket. In this case, the polarity is sending it to the front, and not to the back. But that indicates I have to build a bigger case for the 7" touchscreen monitor. The polarity does count.

    the adapter is good. I recommend you take a good look at the space you have to install it. look at the possible accesses that are close to where you installed it so that they do not obstruct.
