Bought this for a holiday coming up in France but wanted to try it out a couple of times to make sure it works etc. It's brilliant, so easy and clean, and cooking is virtually fat free. I went for the slightly larger one, and glad I did. You can cook a full English breakfast for 2-4 people with everything on the plate at the same time, which is great. Will use this throughout the summer when I fancy eating outside but can't be bothered with messing about with a BBQ when it's only my wife and I. I definitely recommend this to anyone who intends to go on a camping holiday, including mobile home holiday, where either charcoal grills aren't allowed, or for the quicker alternative to getting a BBQ going, or for outdoor cooking throughout the summer at home. Obviously, as it's winter time, we used it indoors on the kitchen worktop, its quite long, but then you don't need any other space for cooking because you do it all on the hotplate.Read full review

Just used the new teppanyaki cooker for the first time, BRILLIANT!!, did 8 bacon 3 eggs 4 home made rosti and once bacon shrunk down a bit, 2 fried bread, my wife did the hard bit, beans in the saucepan. It can be used for just about anything, drop scones and pancakes, welshcakes, barbecue, and breakfast. The Japanese use them in the middle of the table and everyone cooks their own meat and vegetables as they go along, Hibachi style. Really easy to clean too, fat runs away into a small removable tray and just wipe the top clean in seconds. Really impressed for the very low price, much cheaper than replacing the gas bottle for my barbecue, even cheaper than the new bag I needed for our gas barbecue, we wanted it for our tourer as our portable gas barbecue is quite heavy and takes a lot of storage space, this is very light and compact and we can use the site's electric!!. First time i used this camping with electrical hook up. It heated up quickly and we were frying eggs and bacon on it to perfection! Nothing burnt. Also made the most succulent steak on it. Only suggestion is an egg mould to stop them spreading. But I’ll use this at home as well as camping. Easy to clean and flat so easy to store. Great price great quality. Can’t recommend it enough :-)
