I'm trying to replaced my LG G4 with this phone because of the battery life. Overall the BLU Studio XL2 is worst than the G4 in all areas except for the battery life. The good: Excellent Battery, almost 3 days without a charge on normal use! Android 6.0 Big phone with a big screen! Unlocked phone that will work with pretty much with all carriers (Canada & US) Dual Sim (haven't tried a 2nd sim though...) The bad: Not a flagship phone, far from one! Spotifiy music and Youtube video sometime cuts or lags Speaker Sound at max is not clear No IR Blaster Not always smooth while browsing, switching or closing apps Not a fast phone 16 gb is barely enough of storage, need to add a microSD card for photo, videos... Can't change the base interface of the phone (stuck with Google banner at the top of every screens and icons are super big!) Camera is so-so... Using the on-screen keyboard is ok, but requires a lot of patience, not smooth and fast, hard to type fast with no mistake, you have to press exactly on the character or it won't register... But the phone last 3 days!!! I'm trying really hard to make It work! ThanksRead full review

I have owned many Android phones over the past 15-20 years including Samsung Galaxy,.LG, GOOGLE Pixel, and of course BLU. Honestly, unless you are buying a phone to be able to show it off and say it's a Galaxy or Pixel, a GOOD BLU phone is the same exact thing, maybe better in ways. The Studio XL 2 is my second BLU phone. I previously had the R1HD. These phones are extremely affordable and keep up very well in regards to performance. If I had to choose any phone as a gift, I'd go BLU. AWESOME 16MP & 5MP Cameras ENOUGH MEMORY TO KEEP UP ENOUGH STORAGE TO LAST EXTRA MICRO SD STORAGE 6" SCREEN IS VERY NICE CPU & GRAPHICS ARE JUST FINE **My only complaint I could possibly have regarding the Studio XL 2, I prefer a louder speaker for phone calls and music.** Other than that, it's the best $80 investment I have made in a long time. You want to spend$80 or $800? For the same result. Lol common sense.Read full review

I was looking for a great, quality phone to replace my old Galaxy Grand Prime, but also didn't want to spend a whole lot. I made a great choice in the Blu Studio XL 2. It was a good price, included headphones and a case, which I was not expecting. I was only expecting to get the phone and the charger. It is fast, has a large screen, and is very durable. Also good on space and I can install all the apps I need as well as update them without running out of internal storage. It has a decent camera (the pictures aren't as good as they were on my Grand Prime, in my opinion, but they aren't terrible either.) The only other downside (if there was one) is that the call volume seems kind of low even when it is at the maximum volume on some calls. Volume is fine on other applications, such as YouTube, etc. When I put my SD card in to expand my external storage, it said my SD card was corrupt, but I'm hoping that is based on user error. I will try again with a brand new card soon.Read full review
