These headphones rock. I have 3 pair. Very comfortable, insanely so. Great sound. Much better than anything I've heard and I was a D.J. for 10 years. Cons: 2 of mine broke after a year or so. Just using them at home, not D.J. ing anymore. Both sides of one just snapped and padding starts to flake after a couple years of light use. From what I'm told these factory ear pads run $40 each or so from Sony. They're expensive so rather than throw them out when stuff snaps I get out the 2 part epoxy and get creative. The older ones don't looks so good with all the glue but they are holding up and still sound awesome.

I had these headphones back in high school when they were first released. I could wear them all day and not get fatigued, a nice feature compared to any other headphone in the price range at the time. They are very lightweight, the cushions are like pillows, and they've got killer sound, to boot. I very highly recommend these for prolonged listening sessions.

The Good Very comfortable ear "muffs" that encompass my whole ear and are very, very, soft. The overall design is great and very sturdy. The sound quality is amazing, it has great response on high and low frequencies. All around they are great headphones for the price. The circumaural ear pieces help block out the surrounding noise very well. The Bad The slide mechanism was very strong at first but after about two weeks of use it has become much looser which has me worried that it will become so loose that every time I take them off they will lose my adjustment. I have been using them for a while now even though they seem very loose I still haven't had them slide all the way out when taking them off so we will see. Overall Sound quality to price these are a great deal that will leave you amazed if you are coming from cheaper headphones (My previous pair was a $50 sony). If your looking for a great headphone for a good price then these are the ones to go with.Read full review
Too bad sony discontinued these, because their new offerings are not up to par. I have two sets now, one for the office and one at home. If you can find a clean pair for around $100 they are totally worth it, even though I bought my first pair new for $55 in 2010. I'm not sure what else compares. If I hadn't been able to find a second set of these I would have tried the bose around the ear for comfort.

I bought this product by searching on the net n reading reviews,at first i hesitated to buy coz of its cost i.e. around $90,i was bored buying headphones having bass.the type of bass which i wanted,i couldnt buy,but my search lasted here, when i bought this. i was shocked by the bass it throws with vibrations, thats awesome. it is the coolest headphone i ever had. i only disliked about this product is the length of the wire given, thats short.it should have been a little longer, but thats need not worry, thats just a suggestion. thanks a lot
