Big screen and high quality visuals
This is the second Samsung Note I have bought. The first was a 3 - still going. This 4 is excellent. Flexiblility to choose among settings and app's which all work well and fairly quickly. The big screen is easy to read things on and watch news videos. Good size for larger hands and older eyes. The only thing I would change is the volume available when the speaker is to your ear - more would be good. However, the speakerphone when cranked up with a sound booster app. is good for handsfree use. Auto-switch to WiFi is nice and generally a very intuitive model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good phone but...
I'd like to start by saying I bought it from Hong Kong and I regret it as non of the banking apps work. Apps errror:device has been rooted/jillbroke!!!! And I thought I was buying a new device which is disappointing and quite inconvenient as not handy at all. Saying this I reserched the issue and tried to fix it but nothing worked so I feel like the phone is useless to me in a way. Another downside is that the camera shutter sound won't turn off. Also Google it and apparently it's a thing in China about personal space/ privacy eg. Thus the option to turn it of is disabled. Which can be annoying!!! Other then that it's a good phone but if mobile banking is your thing that I don't recommend it as it won't work😨Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought to replace my original Note 4 which was out of contract and died on me. Note 7 was withdrawn due to battery problems and Note 5 is sealed so you can't change battery or add sd card to expand memory hence another Note 4 which I love. Came with 2 batteries which was good because one had a pretty poor usage time so swapped to the other battery and thats much better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old but not obsolete.
I have had a note 4 before. This is a great device even in 2018. There is only two things that work against it. Battery life and firmware updates. Being old it is no longer supported. But this does not effect it's ability to be a good device in 2018. There are some functions that it doesn't have but it's still a good device. Battery life is ok. It can last about a day with heavy use. If you want more then I would recommend a spare battery or two. Everything else about this phone is great. It's is a bit dated but if you can get a good one it should last you a few more years. I would recommend it if you can get a cheap one in good condition.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
