    Switches do the job.

    I have not yet tried these, so cannot comment whether they even work! Shipped and arrived on time, and reasonably priced. As a Brit, I tend to switch things on by dropping the switch, and the on/off legend plate will only fit one way, as illustrated. This doesn't really matter in my application.
