I own an Epson 5040UB projector, and this will be the 3rd lamp that I have ordered from Dave's Bright Ideas. I truly believe that these lamps are the real deal, and are not knock off's. I've purchased one off brand from another on-line company in the past, and can definitely tell the difference. This lamp has the Epson logo on it, and also has it on the actual lamp, inside the shell case as well. It has restored our Epson projector back to it's original brightness. I highly recommend.
