    Excellent

    I've waited till putting the tool through its paces.I work a lot with older bikes,my cheaper pulleys would last a few weeks and would let me down in the end. So I decided to buy a branded pulley,it's looked the same as the cheaper ones but the metal is of better quality,the thread stands up to seized in pedal cranks no problem. Attaching a seat post to the Allen key worried me slightly as I didn't want to injure myself if it slipped but the pulley has pulled the most rusted in cranks no problem. Don't bother with the cheap makes as they only fail,a few more pounds and you will have a pulley that's up to the job.

    No frills, high quality item, recommended

    Unlike the cheap one I had before this feels much more solid and reliable. Just make sure and properly clean the crank threads, dry then use a little grease to improve the seal between remover and crank. You will need a long hex key or a small cheater bar for stubborn cranks.

    Robust and worth every penny!

    Working on a square tapered MTB which was over 17 years old !and never had the crank arms removed. Cheaper ones from Ebay borrowed from friend failed and broke. Decided to go with Draper as I've used their tools in the past with relative durability. This did the job with ease first time and gave it to friend as a replacement. He has successively used this on several bikes so still going strong.

    Great quality. Buy it.

    I have tried to use a cheaper alternative crank removing tool, but under pressure the thread slipped and the tool became useless. Using the Draper tool, the crank was removed in less than 2 minutes, with no drama, and I am able to use again. Great Quality item.

    Don't bother with the knock offs

    I wasted time buying the amazingly cheap but no good tools that are all over ebay. A crank puller needs to be well machined and good quality material to get old cranks off, and this Draper tool obviously is. I have driven a few off using an impact hammer with no issues.
