    Replacement for a soldered in Cr2032 cell

    This holder has the same solder spill footprint as CR2032 cells with spot welded solder tags, so allows easy replacement with ordinary cells. The cell is firmly held once pushed in, and contact seems good. Plastic body is a little bigger than solder tag cell, so might not fit in a very tight space.

    I mean, what more can you want, it's exactly what it says it is. Personally I used it to replace my dreamcast battery holder with the attached battery, this way I can just switch it out real nice.

    Compact & neat.

    A neat design if you need to incorporate a CR 2032 battery into a circuit, although the connections do need to be soldered. I haven't come across anything better than these for the purpose.
