    Item arrived safely. I have had one attempt to fit the gear knob onto the gear lever but it won't go on. First look suggests the hole inside the knob is too small to slide over the splines on the gear lever. I'll try some vaseline on my second attempt tomorrow.

    Moulding lines were slightly sharp but easily sanded smooth. Fitted straight onto my Boxer. A good value replacement for the original knob which had been glued and screwed on minus the imortant reversing spring.
